Creator Community

Terms of Service

These terms set out how businesses and creators may use Creator Community, and the responsibilities of everyone on the platform.

Effective date: 31 July 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Creator Community, a platform operated by Hatherleigh & Co. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

About Creator Community

Creator Community helps businesses and creators manage structured collaborations, including trade-exchange campaigns, campaign briefs, creator applications, approvals, content submissions, publishing proof, and campaign performance tracking.

The platform may support creator-only posts, collaborative post requests, business-owned posts, business repost or boost rights, and other campaign formats.

User types

Creator Community supports different user roles, including:

  • Creators: individuals who create content, apply for campaigns, submit content, publish approved content, and provide campaign performance proof.
  • Businesses: businesses or organizations that create campaigns, provide trade offers, review creator submissions, approve content, and track campaign outcomes.
  • Admins: authorized Creator Community/Hatherleigh & Co. team members who manage platform operations, support, moderation, and dispute resolution.

Account responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information;
  • keeping login details secure;
  • using only accounts they are authorized to use;
  • ensuring social media handles and connected accounts belong to them or their business;
  • complying with platform rules and campaign requirements;
  • updating information when it changes.

Users must not impersonate another person, creator, business, or brand.

Creator responsibilities

Creators must:

  • submit accurate profile and social account information;
  • apply only to campaigns they can reasonably complete;
  • follow the agreed brief, deadlines, and posting requirements;
  • submit original or properly authorized content;
  • respond to reasonable revision requests;
  • publish approved content according to the agreed posting method;
  • submit live post links and performance proof where required;
  • disclose sponsored, trade-exchange, or paid partnership relationships where legally or platform-required.

Creators must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, stolen, infringing, or harmful.

Business responsibilities

Businesses must:

  • provide clear campaign information, brand details, offer values, and expectations;
  • honour agreed trade-exchange or campaign commitments;
  • review creator submissions within reasonable timelines;
  • provide clear feedback and revision requests;
  • respect agreed usage rights;
  • not use creator content beyond the agreed campaign scope;
  • not demand additional deliverables outside the agreed brief without agreement;
  • comply with payment and subscription obligations.

Businesses are responsible for ensuring that products, services, campaign claims, and brand instructions are lawful and accurate.

Trade exchange and campaign offers

Creator Community may allow businesses to offer products or services in exchange for creator content and campaign participation.

Businesses must ensure that trade offers are genuine, clearly described, and delivered as agreed. Creators should review campaign details before accepting or participating.

Creator Community may provide trade-value guidance, but final participation remains subject to creator and business agreement.

Content approval and revisions

Creators may be required to submit content for business approval before posting.

Businesses may approve content or request revisions based on the agreed brief. Revision requests should be reasonable and connected to the original campaign scope.

Where a deliverable is revised after publishing proof has been submitted, the platform may require updated proof, post links, or tracking details.

Posting methods and usage rights

Campaigns may include different posting methods, such as:

  • creator-only posts;
  • collaborative post requests, where supported;
  • business repost or boost rights;
  • business-owned posts.

Unless otherwise agreed, content is approved for organic posting and campaign tracking only.

Paid ads, extended boosting, whitelisting, raw file usage, paid media usage, modification of creator content, or use beyond the agreed campaign scope must be confirmed separately.

Businesses may not assume unlimited rights to creator content simply because content was submitted or approved through Creator Community.

Collaborative posts

Where collaborative posts are requested, users acknowledge that some social platforms may require manual action inside the relevant social media app.

Creator Community may track collaborative post requests and confirmations, but may not be able to automatically send or approve native collaborative post invitations unless supported by official platform APIs.

Publishing and social platforms

Creator Community may support social account connection, publishing preparation, post tracking, and analytics where official platform APIs allow.

Users understand that Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other third-party platforms may limit API access, permissions, publishing, analytics, or account verification.

Creator Community is not responsible for changes, outages, restrictions, or data limitations imposed by third-party platforms.

Campaign analytics

Campaign analytics may come from different sources, including:

  • API-verified metrics;
  • screenshots provided by creators;
  • self-reported metrics;
  • pending or unavailable metrics.

The platform will aim to label metric sources clearly. Users should not treat self-reported or screenshot-based metrics as equivalent to API-verified data.

Payments and subscriptions

Business access may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, payment terms, cancellation conditions, and renewal terms will be shown at the time of signup or payment.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Creator Community does not control third-party payment processing delays, fees, or errors.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or loss of access to business features.

Rewards and promotional benefits

Creator Community may offer rewards, credits, or promotional benefits to businesses or creators.

Rewards are subject to eligibility, availability, and specific terms. Hatherleigh & Co. may modify, pause, or withdraw rewards where necessary.

Rewards do not create automatic entitlement to services beyond what is expressly stated.

Prohibited conduct

Users must not:

  • submit false or misleading information;
  • claim social accounts they do not own or manage;
  • upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive content;
  • attempt to access another user’s account or data;
  • bypass platform security or usage restrictions;
  • scrape, copy, or misuse platform data;
  • harass, threaten, or exploit other users;
  • use the platform for illegal, discriminatory, fraudulent, or harmful activity.

Platform availability

Creator Community may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the platform as the product evolves. We aim to provide a stable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

Creator Community and Hatherleigh & Co. are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, reputational harm, failed collaborations, third-party platform restrictions, or disputes between creators and businesses except where required by law.

Account suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the platform, fail to meet payment obligations, misuse content, or harm other users.

Users may request account deletion in line with the Data Deletion Instructions.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the platform develops. Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
