Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Creator Community collects, how it is used, and the choices available to businesses and creators.

Effective date: 31 July 2026

Creator Community is a platform operated by Hatherleigh & Co. that helps businesses and creators connect, collaborate, manage campaign briefs, submit content, track approvals, and measure campaign performance.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can manage or request deletion of their data.

Information we collect

When you use Creator Community, we may collect the following information:

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, password/account login details, business name, creator name, location, profile image, role type, and account settings.
  • Creator profile information: social media handles, niches, content formats, audience details, trade preferences, portfolio uploads, media library content, creator bio, availability, campaign history, and collaboration performance.
  • Business profile information: business name, logo, industry, contact person, brand details, products/services offered for trade, campaign briefs, offer values, campaign preferences, and subscription/payment status.
  • Campaign and collaboration information: campaign briefs, deliverables, uploaded content, captions, revision notes, approval status, live post links, posting method, usage-rights selections, correction requests, and performance records.
  • Uploaded files and media: profile photos, business logos, product/offer images, creator portfolio content, campaign submissions, screenshots, and other media submitted through the platform.
  • Social account information: where users choose to connect social accounts, we may collect profile information such as username, profile image, follower count, account type, post links, and available campaign performance metrics. Full social account connection will only happen through official platform authorization flows, such as Meta, Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok login/authorization. Creator Community will never ask users to provide their social media passwords directly.
  • Performance and analytics information: post URLs, views, likes, comments, shares, saves, reach, impressions, engagement rate, screenshots of insights, manually submitted metrics, and API-verified metrics where available.
  • Technical information: device information, IP address, browser type, usage activity, login timestamps, pages visited, error logs, and security-related activity.
  • Payment information: for business users, payment and subscription information may be processed through third-party payment providers. Creator Community does not store full card details.

How we use your information

We use collected information to:

  • create and manage user accounts;
  • verify creator and business profiles;
  • match creators and businesses for campaigns;
  • generate and manage campaign briefs;
  • track deliverables, approvals, revisions, and publishing status;
  • display creator profiles and relevant business/campaign details;
  • support campaign analytics and performance reporting;
  • process subscriptions and payments;
  • provide customer support and resolve disputes;
  • improve platform features, user experience, and safety;
  • detect misuse, fraud, or policy violations;
  • comply with legal, accounting, security, and operational obligations.

Social account connections

Where social account connection is available, users may choose to connect Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or other supported platforms.

Creator Community may request access to account information and campaign-related performance data only where needed for platform functionality. The exact permissions requested will be shown during the official authorization process.

Users may disconnect social accounts where supported. Disconnecting an account may limit verification, analytics, publishing, or campaign-tracking functionality.

Creator Community will not publish content to a connected social account without the relevant account owner’s confirmation and authorization.

How information is shared

We may share limited information between users where necessary for campaign participation. For example:

  • businesses may view creator profiles, connected social status, portfolio items, campaign submissions, live post URLs, and performance information linked to their campaigns;
  • creators may view business campaign briefs, offer details, feedback, approval status, and posting requirements;
  • admins may access user, campaign, payment, media, and support information for operational, moderation, or dispute-resolution purposes.

We do not sell user personal data to advertisers.

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting providers, payment processors, analytics tools, email services, cloud storage providers, and API providers.

Uploaded content and media

Users are responsible for ensuring that content they upload does not infringe third-party rights, violate platform rules, or include unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized material.

Uploaded campaign content may be visible to the relevant creator, business, and Creator Community admin team. Portfolio content may be visible to businesses depending on the creator’s profile settings and platform design.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, provide services, resolve disputes, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, and protect platform integrity.

Some information may be retained after account deletion where required for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or historical campaign records.

User rights and data requests

Users may request to access, correct, disconnect, or delete certain personal information.

To request deletion of account data, users should follow the Data Deletion Instructions page or contact Creator Community support.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information. However, no digital platform can guarantee complete security. Users are responsible for keeping their account login details secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
