Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your account, your connected social account information and your campaign records.

Effective date: 31 July 2026

Creator Community allows users to request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

This page explains how users may request deletion of data connected to Creator Community, including account information, social account connections, uploaded media, and campaign-related records.

How to request data deletion

To request deletion of your Creator Community account or personal data, email support@hatherleigh.co, using the subject line:

Data Deletion Request – Creator Community

Please include:

  • your full name;
  • the email address linked to your Creator Community account;
  • whether you are a creator, business user, or both;
  • the specific data you want deleted, if not requesting full account deletion.

We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

Social account data

If you connected Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or another social platform, you may also disconnect your account from Creator Community settings where available.

When you request deletion, we will remove or disconnect stored social account data where reasonably possible, including:

  • connected account records;
  • access tokens, where stored;
  • profile data pulled from connected accounts;
  • synced account information;
  • platform connection status.

You may also revoke Creator Community’s access directly through the relevant social platform’s settings.

Uploaded media and campaign content

Deletion requests may include uploaded files such as:

  • profile images;
  • business logos;
  • product/offer images;
  • creator portfolio uploads;
  • campaign submissions;
  • post proof screenshots;
  • issue screenshots;
  • other platform media.

Some campaign-related records may be retained where necessary for:

  • completed campaign history;
  • dispute resolution;
  • payment, accounting, or legal records;
  • platform security;
  • fraud prevention;
  • compliance obligations.

Where we retain records, we may anonymize or restrict access where appropriate.

Business and payment records

Business subscription, invoice, and payment-related records may be retained for accounting, tax, audit, or legal compliance purposes.

Deletion of a business account does not automatically erase payment records that must be retained by law or payment processors.

Campaign and collaboration records

If your account participated in campaigns, some records may remain in limited form to preserve campaign history, approvals, audit logs, or dispute records. This may include:

  • campaign name;
  • deliverable status;
  • approval records;
  • revision history;
  • live post URLs;
  • audit logs;
  • business/creator collaboration history.

Where possible, personal identifiers may be removed, anonymized, or restricted.

Processing time

We aim to respond to deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying the request.

Some requests may take longer where data is stored in backups, third-party systems, payment processors, or campaign records requiring review.

Third-party platforms

Deleting data from Creator Community does not automatically delete content from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Google Drive, Dropbox, payment providers, or other third-party services.

Users must manage deletion directly with those platforms where applicable.
