Creator Community
Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how business subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, failed payments, and trade-exchange disputes are handled on Creator Community.
Effective Date: 8 June 2026
1. Overview
Creator Community is a subscription-based creator-business collaboration platform operated by Hatherleigh & Co. Businesses pay a monthly subscription fee to access platform tools including campaign briefing, creator matching, trade-exchange collaboration management, approvals, posting proof, and campaign tracking.
Creator Community is not currently an online store, marketplace, product reseller, or merchant payout platform.
2. Monthly Subscription Fees
Business users are charged a monthly subscription fee for access to Creator Community. Subscription fees grant access to the platform during the paid billing period.
Creator accounts are currently free to join, unless otherwise stated in future updates.
3. Cancellation Policy
Business users may cancel their subscription before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the following month. Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically refund the current billing period.
After cancellation, the business may retain access until the end of the current paid billing cycle unless otherwise stated.
If the platform later supports automatic cancellation inside the dashboard, users should cancel through their account settings. Until then, users may contact support@hatherleigh.co.
4. Refund Policy
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started. Refunds may be considered only in limited cases, including:
- duplicate payments;
- incorrect billing caused by a technical error;
- payment charged after a confirmed cancellation request;
- platform access not being activated after successful payment;
- any refund required by applicable law.
Refund requests must be submitted to support@hatherleigh.co. Users should include:
- business name;
- account email address;
- payment date;
- payment reference, where available;
- reason for the refund request.
Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
5. Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails, access to paid business features may be paused, restricted, or cancelled until payment is completed.
Creator Community may notify the business user and provide an opportunity to update payment details or retry payment.
6. Beta Platform Notice
Creator Community is currently in beta. During beta, some features may be tested, improved, adjusted, removed, or expanded based on user feedback.
Payment during beta covers access to the available platform tools during the billing period. Beta participation does not guarantee that every feature will remain unchanged.
7. Trade-Exchange Collaborations
Creator Community helps businesses and creators structure trade-exchange collaborations. The platform does not directly refund, replace, or compensate products, services, time, content, or trade-exchange arrangements between businesses and creators unless Hatherleigh & Co. has separately agreed to do so in writing.
Businesses and creators are expected to honour the campaign brief, agreed deliverables, timelines, approvals, and usage rights.
Disputes relating to product/service quality, missed deliverables, late submissions, or campaign expectations may be reviewed by Creator Community where applicable, but refunds of subscription fees are not automatically granted because a collaboration did not produce the expected business result.
8. No Guaranteed Results
Creator Community provides tools for collaboration, campaign structure, creator matching, approvals, posting proof, and campaign tracking. The platform does not guarantee sales, enquiries, bookings, engagement, follower growth, or specific marketing results.
Campaign performance may depend on many factors, including creator fit, content quality, offer strength, product demand, pricing, customer service, timing, and business follow-through.
9. Product or Service Refunds
Creator Community does not currently sell products or services to shoppers on behalf of businesses.
Where a business provides a product or service to a creator or customer, any refund, exchange, replacement, or fulfilment issue relating to that product or service remains the responsibility of the business providing it.
10. Changes to This Policy
Creator Community may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
